Our first Alnico 2 Tele set offers blues and jazz players warm, rich trebles and superb sustain, whilst still maintaining enough tele-twang on the bridge pickup to keep up with country licks.

The Alnico rod pole pieces on the bridge pickup incorporate Tonerider's modified stagger, with a higher third and fourth string polepieces to optimise string-string balance.

The neck pickup features our in-house Nickel-Silver cover for tonal transparency, and we include wood screws for direct mounting to the body, and two #4/40 pan head screws for use when mounting the pickup to a pickguard.

Each pickup is fully wax potted to reduce any microphonic feedback, and comes supplied with screws, latex height adjustment tubing and an installation guide.

The tone is exactly what I wanted for my BluesMan tele build. A roasted ash body with roasted maple neck. Will post pics when finished.

Clear and balanced set. Nice tone and good bite when digging in. Great pickups, especially at that price point. Very satisfied and would definitely buy again.

Everything great thanks

I was a little afraid of making the wrong choice between alnico II and alnico V, but I have to say that alnico II has that harmonic clarity and also that midrange that I was looking for. I have not tried the alnico V, but I am sure that those will be phenomenal too. Your brand is synonymous with quality at the right price, I also bought the city limits for the Stratocaster and I am crazy about them. What can I say, keep it up, you are on the right path.

Incredible pickups punching way above their weight

I recently bought the Alnico 2 Blues Telecaster neck pickup to replace a (more than 3x the price I should add) boutique pickup that broke. It sounds absolutely amazing and even better than the previous pickup! It’s very warm without being boomy and lacking definition. And even though it is a low output pickup I had no problem matching the volume with my higher output bridge pickup. I would buy even if it was twice as expensive but at this price there was no hesitation!

Wow!!!

I purchased the bridge pick up and paired it with the Alnico II Classic Humbucker in a recent Telecaster build. All I can say is wow!! It's warm and articulate and beats other pick ups at a great price. Middle position with the Humbucker is an awesome place to be. I prefer it to the Hot Classics but that is down to personal taste. Don't sleep on this one people....output isn't everyrhing ;-)
